Meet Your Therapist
In-person in Austin & The Rio Grande Valley.
Online in Dallas, Houston, and Across the State of Texas.
I grew up in Austin back when it was still deliciously weird—and so was I, in all the best ways. When I was 16, a career assessment told me I should be either an actress or a therapist. At the time, I laughed it off... but deep down, it knew me better than I knew myself.
What I didn’t know then was that I'd soon be navigating some of my darkest seasons—grappling with big, heavy feelings I didn’t have words for yet. Suicidal thoughts, confusion, and a deep ache I couldn’t explain. Luckily, I found a compassionate therapist who didn’t just “listen”—she got me. She held space for my mess and saw my worth when I couldn’t. One day, she said, “You should think about becoming a therapist.” That sentence stuck.
It took 24 years, a few unexpected plot twists — working in politics, building a career in pharmaceutical sales for Fortune 500 companies, and raising two kids along the way — plus a whole lot of soul-searching… but here I am, finally doing the work I was always meant to do.
I opened this practice for women like you, carrying heavy feelings, old stories, and the quiet weight of past experiences. I see you. And my hope is to help you see yourself again, with more clarity, more kindness, and more wholeness.

Anxiety Doesn’t Have to Run the Show
A lot of the women I work with initially come to therapy struggling with symptoms of anxiety. The explain that if feels like anxiety is in charge of their lives. I like to explain it with a simple image:
Anxiety is like the steam rising from a pot of boiling water. Most of us just want the steam to stop, so we try to put a lid on the pot. But when all that pressure builds underneath, the lid eventually blows off.
The real work isn’t forcing the steam away — it’s tending to the fire underneath. Sometimes that “heat” comes from unresolved relationship wounds, old traumatic experiences, or the relentless stress of daily life.
When we work together, we figure out what’s fueling that fire and gently turn it down. Because anxiety isn’t a sign that you’re broken — it’s a signal that something deeper needs care. With the right tools and support, the fire cools, the steam settles, and you can begin to feel more like yourself again.
