Spinning on conversations from yesterday, things on your to do list for today, and rehearsing disaster in your head. What if this happens, what if that happens?
And all you wish for is a little bit of peace.

You just want to feel… steady.

From Stretched Thin to Steady is a 4-week women’s therapy group for midlife women navigating stress, anxiety burnout, and the emotional weight of always being the one to hold it all together.

No fixing. No pressure. Just 90 minutes each week to:

  • slow down and breathe

  • process what’s been building up, using Brainspotting — a neuroscience-based approach that helps the body let go of stress

  • learn simple, practical tools to soften the stress & anxiety in everyday life

  • connect with other women who get it, and who are craving peace too

You’ll leave with:

  • More calm in your body

  • Relief from some of the spinning thoughts

  • Clarity about what you actually need (and permission to name it)

  • Support that doesn’t expect anything back

What is Brainspotting?

And why is it so helpful when you’re tired of overthinking everything?

If your brain is always on, planning, fixing, worrying, and you can’t seem to find the “off” switch, Brainspotting helps you slow it all down.

In each group, I’ll gently guide you through a Brainspotting process that allows your body and mind to unwind the pressure — without you having to talk it all out or figure everything out first.

We use your gaze (yes, where you look!) to help you focus in on a spot that gives your nervous system a chance to reset. Think of it like clearing space inside — a quieting of the constant noise that says “do more, be better, don’t mess this up.”

It’s gentle. You’re in full control. And I’ll walk you through every step.

Women often say it feels like some of their thoughts finally get quiet, and they can breathe in a way they haven’t in a long time.

You don’t need to know how it works. You just need a place to exhale. I’ll take it from there.

Group Details:

LOCATION: In-person at Mandala Counseling and Trauma Therapy Center

1623 Central Blvd. Suite 203. Brownsville, Texas


DATES & TIMES:
Wednesdays from 6:30–8:00pm
October 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd


COST:
$300 package of 4 sessions-$75 a session
(Regularly $180 — this group is offered at a reduced rate as part of a special offering)
