Therapy Intensives for Women
Deep EMDR and Brainspotting work in one focused block, not months of weekly sessions.
Austin, Brownsville, the Rio Grande Valley, and South Padre Island.
Online across Texas.
Go deep on one thing, and actually move it.
You already know the thing. The one you keep managing around, meaning to deal with once life slows down. It won't.
An intensive gets underneath it in one focused block, not stretched across months you don't have. We use EMDR and Brainspotting, so we work at the level of your nervous system, not just talk about the pattern.
One price covers all of it: the prep, the day itself, and the follow-up that makes it stick.
Weekly therapy is steady support over time. An intensive is a different tool. It's built to move one thing, and move it faster.
It fits when:
You want traction now, not six months from now.
Your life has no room for a standing weekly hour.
You'd rather go deep once than spread the work thin.
It's for capable women who already know the thing they'd work on, if they just had one clear stretch to go there.
WHY A THERAPY INTENSIVE, NOT ANOTHER WEEKLY SESSION
1
• Before •
Preparation Session
A live session, not a form. We set your goal, build grounding tools you'll actually use, and make sure an intensive is the right fit. You get a focus workbook to do first.
2
• During •
The Intensive
A dedicated block, three hours up to two half-days. EMDR and Brainspotting, with breaks, closing each session settled.
3
• After •
Integration
Follow-up sessions are built into the price, plus a plan to take home, so the shift holds.
HOW IT WORKS
Which therapy intensive fits you?
Start with one question.
How tangled is it?

One specific thing you can name

If it’s…
Several things, braided together
Your Fit:
Breakthrough:
The Two-Half-Day Intensive · $1,600
TIER 1: Reset · $600
One specific thing you can name.
• For a single, contained knot, usually recent or clearly identifiable:
• One conversation or moment you can't stop replaying.
• A recent event still sitting in your body: an accident or a single disturbing event.
• Steadying before something big: a wedding, a court date, a procedure, a hard conversation you want to walk into grounded.
• A trigger that keeps firing (a place, a smell, a tone of voice) even though you know you're safe now.
Your $600 covers it all:
90-minute preparation session
One half-day session (4 hours), with breaks
One 55-minute integration session
Focus workbook and a one-page Resourcing Plan
TIER 2: Realign · $800
One situation that runs deeper than a single moment.
For a single storyline that's bigger than one event and has roots:
• The discovery of one affair or betrayal, and everything it's kicked up about trust, and about you.
• One relationship that shaped you, whether a parent, an ex, or a friendship rupture, that keeps steering how you operate now.
• One relationship that shaped you, whether a parent, an ex, or a friendship rupture, that keeps steering how you operate now.
• One significant loss you never had room to actually grieve.
• One chapter of your life that still runs the show.
Your $800 covers it all:
90-minute preparation session
One half-day session (4 hours), with breaks
One 55-minute integration session
Focus workbook and a one-page Resourcing Plan
TIER 3: Breakthrough · $1,600
Several things, braided together.
• For when it isn't one thing. It's several, woven so tightly you can't find where one ends and the next begins:
• Complex or layered trauma spread across years: more than one event, more than one relationship
• Long-standing patterns like people-pleasing, hypervigilance, or never being able to rest, with roots you can't fully separate.
• Betrayal on top of grief on top of a shaky sense of who you are now.
• When weekly therapy keeps circling because there's just too much to move in 55-minute pieces.
Your $1,600 covers it all:
90-minute preparation session
Two half-day sessions (4 hours each) across two days
Two integration sessions over 6 weeks
Focus workbook, a Pattern Map and Plan, and priority scheduling
Available in person in Brownsville, in Austin by appointment, or as the South Padre Island intensive below.
THE SOUTH PADRE ISLAND INTENSIVE · $2,500
A multi-day reset, off the island of your everyday life.
A multi-day reset, off the island of your everyday life.
Two half-days on the coast. The hours in between, a walk on the beach, a real night's sleep, are part of how the work settles.
Includes the full Two-Half-Day package: 90-minute prep, two half-day sessions, two integration sessions over 6 weeks, workbook, and your plan to carry home.
Lodging is separate. I'll send a short list of where to stay and eat.

“Is A Therapy Intensive Right for You?”
Yes, if: there's one thing you're ready to move, your life has no room to stretch it across months, and you're open to EMDR and Brainspotting.
Not yet, if: you're in acute crisis or an unsafe situation (that stabilizes first), you want to ease in over many weeks, or you want a quick fix with no follow-through. We confirm the fit in your consult.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a therapy intensive?
A longer, focused block of therapy, from a few hours up to two half-days, that moves one thing in a fraction of the time weekly sessions take. It uses EMDR and Brainspotting, with a preparation session and integration sessions included.
What's the preparation session?
A live session before your intensive to set your goal, build grounding tools, and confirm the fit. Not a form. You also get a focus workbook.
Is the follow-up included?
Yes. The price is all-in. Nothing is billed separately.
Will an intensive resolve everything at once?
It can move something that's been stuck a long time, sometimes a lot. It isn't a magic reset, and I won't promise total resolution. We set realistic goals in your prep session.
How do I know which one is right?
Start with "how tangled is it?" above. The free consult settles it.
Do I need my own therapist?
No. If you have one, I coordinate with them. If you don't, I help you set up support afterward.
Do I have to be an existing client?
No. We consult first, then your preparation session.
How does the deposit work?
Half reserves your date. The rest is due 48 hours before.
Do you offer intensives in Austin?
Yes, in person by appointment. Weekly Austin therapy is online; the in-person option in Austin is the intensive.
Do you offer intensives in McAllen, Edinburg, or the Upper Rio Grande Valley?
Yes. Come to my Brownsville office, or choose South Padre. Online intensives are available anywhere in Texas.
Do you offer intensives in Brownsville and the Lower Rio Grande Valley?
Yes, in person at my Brownsville office, serving Brownsville, Harlingen, San Benito, and Los Fresnos.
Is it covered by insurance?
My therapy practice is private pay. I provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement, and HSA and FSA cards are accepted.
How do I book?
Book a free 15-minute consult. If it's a fit, we schedule your prep session and date, take the deposit, and I send your workbook.
Not sure which one fits?
That's exactly what the consult is for. Book a free 15-minute call and we'll figure out whether a therapy intensive, and which one, is right for what you're carrying.
